A WALL OF PROTECTION

"The Word of God"

Through out history cities have been protected by walls. In the same spirit of protection let us build walls to fight against the enemies seeking to harm and steal. How may one build a wall? Lay the Word of God in a strategic place. Build a wall around your heart with God's Word. Memorize the Word!

(Psa 119:11 KJV) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

When you place the Word in your heart the Holy Spirit uses the truth stored within you to fight against the fiery darts of the devils.

(Eph 6:16 KJV) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Your daily walk needs protection. God's Word provides protection as a wall and guidance as a light.

(Psa 119:105 KJV) NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The Word of God stands as our best defense against the Devil. Jesus used the Word of God to defeat the evil one.

(Mat 4:4 KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

(Mat 4:7 KJV) Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

(Mat 4:10 KJV) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Have you worked on building the wall of protection in your heart and lives of those to whom you love? Join us today in building a wall to save the family, the home, and our country. Place the Word of God in a most affective place, your heart.

Every brick wall begins with one brick. Start today with one verse. Memorize the verse and share it with someone. Then, take another verse and learn it. Review the previous verses and continue to build.

At Faith Baptist the people are building a wall through studying the Scriptures and placing the Word in their hearts. Each service people are encouraged to share the Word they have placed in their heart and stored in their mind.

Come and help build a WALL OF THE WORD!
